Brace yourself for The Legends .

Past Legends have included ? The Ashley ? and ? The Kory .? Our next Legend is Ryan Kurosky. A Founding Member at our first Denver studio, Alchemy 365 LoHi, Ryan finally found a gym that worked. After years of fearing fitness, this community helped Ryan truly love living a healthy lifestyle, and completely change his life.

Read below for Ryan?s story, and get ready for his workout!

My entire life I was always indoors. Fitness scared me and as quote the ?overweight kid? I dreaded the thought of it and coped through increasing laziness. This pattern continued into hating anything fitness related going into my adult life.  It was 2015 when I went on a trip and from a photo I saw of myself I knew I had to do something. My habits and lifestyle had to change.

At that point I tried a range of different gyms, classes and personal coaches. Nothing stuck until I moved to Denver, and tried my first Alchemy 365 class.

After moving to Denver I was casually getting coffee with friends in LoHi when we saw a sign for free classes at Alchemy. We looked it up online and decided to try out this new workout. Immediately upon entering the building for my first class, I knew this place was different than those other gyms. The Front Desk staff and Coach were greeting and welcoming everyone that walked in. They took the time to walk us into the room, get us a spot, and made us feel comfortable and welcomed.

Ever since that first class, and still to this day, I know I?m part of an unstoppable community. When COVID hit, they found a way to keep the community alive through online workouts. When athletes could sign-up to be on Alchemy Anywhere , I jumped at the opportunity.  Being able to come in and be on screen was a powerful way for me to stay feeling connected during that isolating time. We were helping motivate our community stuck at home in Denver, but also welcomed new faces to the power of Alchemy who logged on from all over the United States.  At a time when everyone was isolated, Alchemy was there to remind me, and all of us, we are never alone. Nothing could stop us from continuing to reach our goals.

Six years later, I have created a routine that gets me going in the morning, I?ve developed confidence in myself, and now see myself as a motivator in the Alchemy community.  I have lost over 100 pounds. Alchemy is a HUGE part of this journey in helping me maintain my goals. The community we are a part of and the motivation from the Coaches are by far the best I have come across.  Alchemy keeps me coming back for more, and I can?t wait for what?s to come!
